I have a subscription with silbersammler for the proof series so my 3 were put to one side..lucky I didn't even know they released them..silbersammler is my favourite German dealer very professional and doesn't up the prices on release..

It's good to hear they are trusted. I've not bought from them before and was a little concerned. How did you subscribe and how much does it cost you?

Had to laugh at GS.BE sense of humour - they haven't yet uploaded the official image of the bullion dog but in the meantime they filled the space with this image. Could be one of the early doodles from the sketchbook of the RM dog artist.

The page of the coin gives you the option to reserve the series..I've know Christian for years..he's the one who got me the 35th gold panda..always willing to negotiate price if you email him before hard

Thanks buddy.  I had not heard of him or his site until tonight.  This forum and its members have been so helpful of late that I've signed up for Premium Membership :-)

My instant opinion was the same.  I didn't think too much of it in the first moment of looking at it.  But strangely after looking at it for a few minutes I changed my mind.  I'm probably in a minority of one here but I actually had a similar reaction to the rooster initially.  That took a few days of seeing it before I decided that I really liked it's style and simplicity.  Maybe it's the slightly naïve art style that makes it initially a bit jarring, who knows.  It's certainly different.

New profile pic to support the current thing, because it's current year.
