Britannia Info

I love the gold proof Britannia's.  I checked NGC and there is 1175 coins graded PF70 in the census for the 1/20oz 2013.  That is a very high figure for the Britannia's.  One of the large dealers must have sent them in to be graded in bulk.  I believe this was the first year they issued the 1/20th oz (from memory).   The smaller coins normally carry a huge premium over spot, but it really is a tiny amount of gold and not a particularly rare coin, however the price is held up by the fact that they did not release any standalone 1/10oz gold proofs or 1/4oz gold proofs in 2013, popular sizes with collectors but only available in 2013 sets.  It is a numismatic so worth whatever a collector will pay.  I guess between £100-140.
