A 24ct Gold 5 gram Credit Suisse bar, in an 18ct Gold Pendant. 

Great condition, the loop of the pendant is stamped 750. 

Measurements:

Total weight: 5.92g
Height: 28mm
Width: 15mm

Out of curiosity and not trying to be a smartass or such. But why would anyone want to wear a simple bar as pendant? I know it's gold and such, but wouldn't something pendant style have been a better seller for the making company?

People wear all sorts as jewellery tbh - I've seen a gold proof Queen's Beast set in a bezel recently.

You see a lot of these kicking about ebay and they seem to sell well:

 

 

So I guess there's a market for ingots and bars as wearables.

These bar pendant's have been around for years, as the picture illustrates they have year stamp. Assey stamp, makers mark. I've tried to get one for each of family in there year of birth and city of birth, it's novelty but a fun gift. If you had a couple of the credit Suisse pendant's it'd look like posh military dog tags.LOL

There are a number of collectors for these bars, the go for nearly 175/190% scrap value.
