Strike of the Day Sovereigns

Hi all,

Is there a listing of SotD Sovereigns? I am not collecting sovereigns for too long, so I know only the two of 2017 (Sapphire Jubilee and July 1st, and missed the former because I felt it wasn't a matter of hours to decide...  ).

Is SotD a more regular feature at the Royal Mint?

To be fair I have very little clue of what you are on about.......ie "is there a listing"........................SotD 2017 Sovereign was issued recently, by the Royal MInt,  believe they were struck on the 1st of July.

Only 1817 were minted and Chards offered them initially at a discount, I've obviously got too much money as even though I bought one I cant remember the price I paid.

They sold out at the RM  very quickly and are now being re sold on e-bay  and I think Chards still have a few at £750 a piece, well above issue price, though might be wrong.

No idea if this is of any use to you but just google SotD 2017 Sovereign, or look around on here for any other info you may be looking for.

I was lucky enough to get the July 1st strike from the RM at RM's price (although I failed with the piedfort).

I was interested to learn about earlier SotD sovereigns in general. The 2002 Marsh doesn't get into that much detail, so I don't know if there were earlier SotD sovereigns at all. Hopefully the new Marsh will cover this subject as well...
