I found your heading incredible. Unbelievable that all the German gold was back in Germany. So i checked the article.

"Just over 50% of Germany's gold reserves now sit in Frankfurt. The remaining metal is held in London and New York, where it can be quickly exchanged for U.K. pounds or dollars in an economic emergency." 

The cartel sold Germany's gold years ago. It's long gone.

“I assume the gold is still there,” Mnuchin told an audience in Louisville, Kentucky some 40 miles north of the biggest U.S. Bullion Depository (except of course for the foreign gold stash at the NY Fed). “It would really be quite a movie if we walked in and there was no gold.”
