1/10th oz Gold Britannia 2014

I love the affordability of the 1/10 coins

They may be affordable but at £100 each they are currently 30% over spot price. The premiums on the fractional Britannias, (in fact all fractional modern .999 gold coins) are taking the piss really. You'll be better getting half sovs, same price, similar size, larger gold content but easily found at only 3-5 % over spot.

I like the idea of collecting half sovereigns, they do not seem to have a big markup and to me are just the right size for selling if gold were to increase in value like it did in the last 15 years(only a guestimate might not be totally accurate). But for now i am going to carry on with my silver, it seems to carry the most potential for my mind. But i still think gold has the drool factor over silver.
