I think the coins look like the pictures above, but the 100 mintage is the sweet spot. The Mayer mint are doing good things right now

At the moment i made my response there was not a picture yet :P In anyway, i putted the silver proof on order. The gold one is a little bit out of my budget -_-

Either does a coin company

A wise Scotsman once told me, "The secondary market for these types of things is a specialist market, not everything with a low mintage is **** hot, there are also the duds out there." ;)

Only giving you a hard time. It's a good looking coin and hopefully at an absolute minimum, it can ride the wave of popularity the lunar rooster earned.

Quite like this but can't see it on pre-order. Have you found somewhere?

I think it's a lovely design and well worth it. I hope it will look the same (or better ;)) in hand. I found it on the website of the topic starter,  Münzdachs.de and for a very nice price too. If you don't have an adress in Germany you can contact the topic starter. He will help you with that, great guy by the way.

He does post outside of ??

I don't say he doesn't my friend :) I know he  does, but without a German adress you can't make an account on the website. Because of that Mariner1961 has to contact topic starter so he can make an account for him ;)

A wise Scotsman also says you should stack for long term and buy what you like and not what others do ?

But you are trying to influence me to buy one , you aren't that Scotsman then

the rwandan nautical bu coins come in a blister pack, would you keep them in the blister?, i was thinking they may tarnish, would i lose any value  if i put them in capsules.

It's a good question. I've often wondered about these African coins that come in plastic blisters. people generally prefer OMP but they just seem to be PVC so in theory not safe to store silver in long term.
