In all honesty i think you paid twice as much as it is worth.

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces78286.html

This suggests the silver in the coin is worth 11.84€, so i am probably being very generous saying you paid twice what it is worth, three times would be nearer the mark. Let this be a lesson. There are many many of this sort of coin knocking about. You can see them all the time on ebay. i have bought them in big collections in boxes off ebay but i aim to spend the value of the metal and a bit for the velvet box and capsules. They have next to no collector value.

@Shinus73 do you know any decent sites other than bullion post  and preferably not from the us?

Best not to worry about your purchase today - we have all done it at some point or another I am sure.

My best advice would be to absorb as much knowledge as possible from watching videos on YouTube and threads on this forum.

Feel free to check out the recent group order I arranged - I have a new one open now but you won't see the thread until tomorrow as you are a standard member ;)

As for good places to buy silver:-

www.goldsilver.be/

www.silver-to-go.com

www.coininvest.com

for gold best to stick in the UK

You guys are great help thank you I'm a bit annoyed but the upside is I'm 1oz up haha

Not quite an ounce. Most of these coins are 28.28g in total weight, this coin is no different. It is Sterling silver, so 0.925 pure silver. So you are up 26.16g of silver or 0.84oz
