Colorized Coins are they worth it!!

I was going to ask this exact same qauestion. Interesting.

 

Personally I don't like coloured coins. I guess there is the occasional one that looks OK, but I don't like the premiums. Although saying that, even if there were no extra premium I don't think I'd buy many. Guess I'm a bit too traditional! lol

To be honest I absolutely hate colourized coins. I think it ruins the natural aesthetics of the silver.

Colorized coins what is your opinion.

 

Personally I have a few coloured coins but not very many at all.

 

Are they worth collecting even though they do command a premium.

 

I am waiting for a coupe of Koalas and Kookaburras to turn up but these were bought specifically for the two girls.

 

Any thoughts!!

My opinion is that a few might serve as a gift for a special occasion or jewelry. On the other hand I find it a bit artificiality.

As others have said I think it's just a matter of taste and if you like something and don't mind paying the premium then why not. I've only got a few, some coloured dragons and the coloured 2014 Kook. I recently bought one of the 2014 coloured horses, it was a really good price but when it arrived I didn't like it and put it straight on FeeBay.
