  2. Does anyone collect the non-precious metal 2 pound coins in the UK? If so, do you use a coin book? The annual or definitive sets released by the Royal Mint? Graded and slabbed versions? I've got a few now - the 2015 reintroduction of the Britannia portrait both in circulated condition and from the definitive coin set slabbed, the WWI aviation definitive coin set slabbed, and am very excited for the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Modern Prometheus (Frankenstein!) coin this year. I love the Kew Gardens 50 pence and the Sir Isaac Newton of the same denomination, but only have the latter slabbed by NGC. Photos below are mine and of my coins.
  3. Hi, this is my first thread and first coin-related video. I have been lurking on this forum but not really contributing! I have just "completed" my collection of one of each European circulating gold coin in the ~20 Franc size from the pre-WW1 era. I have been inspired by Numistacker. [
  4. Hello would someone help me please?

Hello my name is Percy Cateriano, I'm 23 years old and live un Peru (South America). I started collecting coins about 3 and a half years ago and really enjoy doing it. My collection is still pretty small, just about 13 silver coins. I have both a 10 yuan silver Panda (2012) and a 2016 MS-69 Britannia from NGC. I Also have a domestic collection of very beautiful (i think haha) proof silver coins minted from the Peruvian Central Bank as a part of the Iberoamerican Series (1991 - Present) but unfortunately here there are no graduating companies so if someone could help me and give me some advice about how to submit my coins to NGC (I don't wanna become a member of NGC because I have so few coins and I've never done a submition before). Thanks for your help. I'll post some photos of my small collection.
  5. Cracking Coins out of Slabs

Hello Silver Forum, I'm relatively new to the Forum, but have been a long-time viewer of Numistacker's videos and a coin collector for years. Most of my collection consists of raw coins, but I've taken a liking to graded examples. My question to you all would be, how do you go about cracking coins out of slabs (like an ICG or ANACS slab) to prepare for submission to NGC or PCGS? There are videos on YouTube showing people crack NGC slabs or even PCGS, but none on the lesser known third-party-graders. Thank you all!
  6. NGC Registry set

Happy today, Just filld in my silverpandas graded by NGC to their registry sets Started out as number 45, and ended up as number 6 Will try to climb even mor4e in the future Also great to keep track of your cert numbers in case of theft
  7. NGC Storage solutions

I've now got several NGC slabs in the corner of a drawer that I have just got out of storage. Is there a storage box that will hold several slabs safely? Not looking for anything fancy just something to keep the slabs together.
  8. Each year NGC awards set registry prizes for the best or most complete set within lots of categories. Each grade is allocated a number of points and you enter slabbed coins only into the NGC database and the system shows the total number of points. I am about 50-60% complete but that was still enough to win. http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/public_sets.aspx?CategoryID=126&SetTypeID=2319&sets=world Video will be made in due course.
