Well I must say, I have just won an eBay auction that I was the most excited about that I have ever bid on.

It may not be to everybody's taste, but I absolutely love it. It's my star sign and was made (and is dated) in the year I was born.

This is a 2.5oz Silver Medal representing the Zodiac sign of Capricorn (my star sign).

One side of the medal features a quartz gemstone set within a sunburst, with flowers and symbol below. The reverse side features the Goat sign of Capricorn.

Designed by the Danish artist Harald Salomon (1900-1990). The medal is engraved on it's edge with the silver fineness (925/1000), maker's mark, date (1978 (the year of my birth)) and number (No. 960). Low mintage of 1,500.

Struck in specially toned .925 Sterling Silver by Anders Nyborg A/S (Sweden). It has a 50mm diameter and weighs 86.2 grams (ASW 2.56 oz troy).

TIB a 2011 panda to complete my mini 11-14 four coin date run.

My first Panda came today. Just got the one because I really wasn't sure if I liked them from just looking at photos, and they are pricey. It's growing on me I have to admit. Always nicer to have and hold (yeah with gloves on, don't panic) than to see in a picture.

Another young head victorian sovereign. That's enough sovereigns for me now (ten).
And enough gold for the time being. Now for silver.

Might be able to give it a headache though 

I'm on my stacking phase now till the end of the year, well until the new Lunars come out.
