Hello, this 1987 25 Yuan Panda arrived in the mail today purchased from a US eBay seller. My first proof panda.

During the ‘Great Silver Forum “Outage” of 2018’, I received a, still sealed, 2007 Gold Sovereign Proof from eBay auction.

Hello again, a few of the graded modern coins I picked up this week. 2002 and 2005 £2 proof coins and the 2017 £5 BU coin (mintage on this one was 1,000 coins). 

Hello. It was a big coin week for me this week. Had ten come back from PCGS (have them submitted via a dealer) and received a number of others I bought a while back. Here are two of the half sovereigns (bought these graded already), the British 1905 and South Africa 1923 proofs. 

A good day indeed going into a three day weekend! Received an 1883-M Young Head Victoria St. George Gold Sovereign in MS61 won in an eBay auction...looks like a nice crisp short tail with incomplete BP.
Also two Sovereigns from APMEX “lucky dip” average circulation...
A 1912 George V Sovereign and another 1925 George V Sovereign.

A  1901 UNC Half sovereign from Cambridgeshire Coins

2 bullion half sovereigns a 1900 and a 1902 from Bairds

Finally tracked down a 1904 Half Sov to complete my Edward, London Mint date run.
It's the lowest mintage of the lot and has proved the most difficult to find at a reasonable price.
 

2 x 2018 sovereigns.
I started collecting 2017 sovereigns last year to fill a tube. I am now up to 22 so a few more and tube 1 done! 1 sovereign on its own can be quite boring (IMO) however once you hit 5 the density of the metal is apparent and it becomes a good way to save money without storage issues.

A couple of finds this week on fleabay at low premiums

I got my first 1g gold bar from Lea79 and a 2oz Lion from Kamikaze.
Really interested what everyone thinks of the bar. At 1g they’re a high premium over spot, but can be resold with that premium - however lots of people don’t seem to like them. Also think the Perth Mint packaging offsets the metal beautifully. The black and gold looks gorgeous and really adds to my enjoyment of the item. Think some other bar manufacturers could up their presentation game! I don’t plan to collect many this size, but they’re relatively cheap and attractive objects.

1893 $10 Gold Liberty BU, although I'd say AU due to the dings.. Good price overall...

I hope to be able to organise a group order from him at some point as he does Stella work in silver casting!
So, I got an awesome 1 oz monkey and a 2.2 gram Bowie knife!

Picked these up from the Post Office today .

Received the last bit of items while I was away...gold! 
From auction I won a 1869 Young Victoria Shield Sovereign, Die 33 (AU58) courtesy@BackyardBullion (I am beginning to think that he has all of my earnings from the overseas trip)...
 
Also received a 1987 1/4 oz gold Britannia proof. Regrettably no COA and box, but pristine condition before I put it in a proper  capsule.
 

Q: What do you do when your stepson decides to start selling his stack to buy a flat?
A: You buy of course.
So today I received 2 x 1oz 2016 gold Britannias.
First impressions are, a bit heavier than half sovs.
