Slowly putting together an old US gold graded set of coins... an MS62 $10 ...  budget couldn't stretch to an MS64 but it's a nice 62, far better than Apmex's stock picture for the grade.

Bought last weekend - a 2coin lot of Vic florins - including an 1849 “godless” florin along with an 1870  These were about £80 for the pair. Would welcome peoples opinion on whether these are good value purchases , or for did I overpay?
Looking in close up at the Godless 1849 -  what a stunning unique design, with all the detail on Victoria ‘s embroidery and her braided hair Cant remember  who - someone of the Forum posted a stunning example a few months ago - so mine is not in that  league - but i do love it.
Then today - just a few nice 1 ounce silver bars: here i am just picking up unique designs as / when i see them to make a small collection of different bars.  The Pamp is nice - all fancy in its holder ( still just an ounce of silver in the end - I know!). A Northwest Territorial Mint design i had not seen before, and then two SF Mint Assay Office pieces from 1981 when apparently they melted down some of the stock to make bars.  And i can never refuse an Engelhard in any design ( not in the pics though) - and finally what looks like a pretty old RCM bar ( would be interested if any advice on the age of that Canadian bar)

Half sovs just arrived from HGM, George V 1925 and Liz 1982, very pleased with the condition. Couldn't believe how excited I was opening the package and wondering what I had been sent. Apologies for the crappy camera. My first gold.

An MS62 graded version of the coin in my avatar from Apmex. My budget doesn't stretch to an MS64, but i'm slowly working my way to getting a set of US graded gold coins.
    Onto the $5 next!

    1oz Rwandan Dog X2
1oz Rwandan Nautical Santa Maria X2

i got the Rwanda coins because I like the look of those and because I think they will perform well. I got two of each because flip one keep one.

1830 Capped Bust Half Dollar - debating whether this is a candidate for Numistacker or not, a slab would add quite a bit of value to it but it might be one where an old cleaning has retoned.

In planning for the completion of my EVII Sixpences (1902 - 1910), I've been on the look out for good examples of the harder to find rare 1904 and scarce 1905.  I was able to talk the seller down on this nice example of the 1904 6P in pretty decent condition based on general availability and the condition of those I have seen for sale.

Picked up a few of these at auction.  Adding a wee bit of Gold to the collection with coins that are in great shape.  Will probably send to NGC to be put in their newer slabs.
