I was aware of some Biafra coins and banknotes.
This Wikipedia page is quite informative:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biafran_pound#
I don't think I was aware about the gold proof sets, and have never been offered, or owned one; although I would certainly be happy to see one, and be able to get photos of it.
The Lesotho set is not the same, it just has 5 coins of similar specifications.
It is interesting to study the purchasing power of the Biafran currency:
Banknotes of the Biafran pound (1968 "First" issue) Image Value Obverse Reverse [1] 5/- Palm tree over a rising sun Four Biafran girls It is astounding that five shillings (25 pence) could buy you 4 Biafran girls, although as there was a severe famine and food shortage, due to multiple factors, this was probably only around 100 kilos total, depending on their age.

Roy got a reaction from Arganto in Where Were You (and Gold) When John Lennon Died?
Are 'Oppenheimer' still Blackpool's leading jewellers?
And are they still situated next to 'Nigel Holmes'...Blackpool's leading fashion shop for men of all ages'?
Such a superlative street, was Church St!

Precious metals are an insurance, you draw on them when you need to.
It's a shame you hadn't put that money into gold.
Good luck with your future career! 👍

Another dinky coin today from eBay. Had to get it as it's a bit of home for me this one and a mini ship collection wouldn't be complete without it. The SS Great Britain. @stefffana, this one is 100 on numista, mintage of only 7733.... You proud of me? 🤣

I can see you have received answers and helpful advice. It does require some effort and experience to choose the optimum packaging and shipping, so i understand the problems.
Strangely enough, almost everyone on TSF expects FREE POSTAGE, although that's possibly only when they are buying from a dealer!

Roy reacted to sixgun in Saudis and China are preparing to do Gold related international transactions
Saudi has been selling oil to China in RMB since 2019.
They mine gold in the Kingdom but lose much of the value by sending it to Switzerland so as a longer term move building refineries and developing the skills is a good move.
This also signals the move away from the USD and that the Gulf is becoming something of a gold centre particularly through Abu Dhabi. We have already seen gold enter the oil trade in China and more recently discounted Russian oil.
The West's grip is slipping.
