Royal mint management/policy fits in with current UK government  

I suspect that they have been preallocated some quantity of the ones that have sold out at the mint, as I noticed they were originally the same price as the mint until the mint sold out, at which point they bumped the prices up!

I couldn't see the 1oz silver listed anywhere either, even on the page that was supposed to list all the ounces. Looks like I wasn't alone!
I was expecting there to be a 1oz silver, and I knew it should definitely exist when I saw it available to buy on the Koin Club website after 9am: https://uk.thekoinclub.com/collections/harry-potter-uk-coin-series/products/harry-potter-2022-uk-1oz-silver-proof-coin
So I ended up buying it from the Royal Mint by viewing the 2oz silver and changing the 2 in the URL to a 1!

I've only ordered a quantity of the cupro-nickel £5 Platinum Jubilee from them, but they were really good.

I only NZ Post coin I purchased was a silver proof coin showing Bag End where they embedded a circular piece of wood from the actual tree at Bag End for the green circular door on the coin. It even came in a gorgeous box that resembled the round door itself.

I had also purchased a 24ct gold foil stamp of the One Ring.

And, I managed to get my claws on a prop Dwarf-struck gold coin from Thror’s Lonely Mountain Hoard. Like this replica set, except I had the one actually used in the movies.

Those purchases were during the heady days of my youth.  It’s nostalgic to look back and remember these, but life has happened, and I don’t think I could justify splurging for trinkets like these anymore. 😀

They were never cheap to start with! An incredible purchase imo and if you're a big fan something to keep for life

resorted to ebay.com, there are still a few listings in the USA but none left for price I just paid - cheapest now I can see  is $199 + shipping and then probably taxes

Never had a silver foil, but i think this one is a must have. 35gr fine silver, it's huge and looks really good
 

Unusually I quite like the colourised versions, however the prices for all of these are just too high for me.

It's grown on me, its unusual - decided to buy it, must be mad

It wont "collapse", they will just keep increasing the pension age, suppose its the same thing really though
