Peacemaker got a reaction from SilverPlatinum in Well These Are Not What I Expected (More eBay Moaning)
So after a long wait for a couple of coins, I have received 2 coins from 2 sellers that look significantly different to the ebay picture, and extremely lower in quality
First 1 is a replacement for my 82 Philly, ebay picture looks beautiful, golden lustrous, and below that is a picture of how it actually looks in natural light, no lustre at all, looks historically polished and tarnished over
Next one is the 79 Philly, ebay pictures look acceptable, nice detail, and an old grey dullness giving the impression of a nice aging coin, below that is a picture of the actual coin, cleaned and/or polished the s**t out of, not happy today, I need some Morgans!

    Hi Dan,
I am afraid they all look counterfeit to me.
Take the first coin as an example - you just don't see massive splodges of metal on minted Morgans as per the below I have cut out.  The other coins all have issues as far as I can see... The colour looks off The weight is also way off - a dead giveaway.  I have a slick Morgan with almost no detail left and this comes in at 25.64g - yours are definitely too light The magnet test works on the steel counterfeits but I have read that other non-magnetic metals are now being used The other coins all have issues as far as I can see... I am not the forums Morgan Dollar expert, but I have bought a >200 hundred for my collection - the majority graded while working / travelling in the US over the years - the majority being PCGS / NCG graded and spent time examine them for VAM errors under microscopes.  Other TSF members views more than welcome!

From the ordering of your pictures I think you have:
    1904 - S
    1894 - CC
1888 - No Mint Mark - Therefore Philadelphia
    1893 S

The dates and mintmark are significant because in 3/4 cases represent coins that are rare / high value / hard to get hold of...or don't exist
1904 - S - Sought after and is noted as a key issue in Bowers book.  It is relatively low mintage.  This is not easy to find....
1894 - CC - No Morgans were minted at the Carson City mint in 1894
    1888 - Relatively common
1893 S - Rare and very highly sought after.  If yours was genuine even in that condition I would guess it would be worth £2000 or more

    @SamGibsonBJJ - Feel your pain!
Ebay is a bit of a sewer currently when it comes to fake Morgans.  I've not looked since I picked up a couple of very nice Morgans from @Peacemaker earlier this year.
You were clearly pleased with the coin, and likely gutted now... perhaps get hold of a genuine one and properly hold it, study it, and learn about it.  You can't beat experience with coins and the fake Morgans are getting better.
Compare your genuine one, to your likely fake.... and in particular Dickers red box areas of concern.
    Good luck!

I vaguely remember reading about fake bars from the sunshine mint being released and here is the thread covering it:
alongside this, there is a link in this which covers the indicators of fake bars - the point which immediately worries me about the picture you posted is the corners of the bar which do seem very similar to the fake images rather than the shallower genuine bar corners. I will leave others to review your pictures and if it’s genuine but I’m not convinced from what you have shared.

NO 70's in this house! - actually not bad for the date at all
I seem to need to complete date runs - a problem I have been dealing with for many years and there seems to be no cure
