you can easily search on the coin cabinet archives. There are at least 3 very fine 1832 sovereign sold for 775 gbp. But 1832 is the most common of the William IV series, you can find dozens of auctions records 

i ve seen 1832 in similar condition selling for 700gbp + hammer rights so i guess the 800 you are currently asking is the right price. It's just a matter of finding a buyer.. i wouldnt go lower

true, especially with higher grades loose ones you taking more risks if you want to grade after buying 
this one priced fairly atm to someone to keep as it is with not that high risk
Anyways might end up auction it on ebay when I get an offer there .

GLWS, imo pre victorian full sovereigns are difficult to sell if not slabbed or professionally assessed. (be that low or high grade); too much money involved and a mistake can be a real economic disgrace)
