It was too much for me to resist, ordered some polar bears for £12.72/oz delivered. Have to be happy with that considering before I found STG I was happy with silver under £16.

well , after trying to educate my self a little . i figured i should get a basic starting point together with these ere pms 
 
so i just bought 2 sovs and a half sov from hgm 
 
i also bought the other day a 1oz kook , 2 3/4 oz timber wolfs and an oz prspector bar . all of eblag and just because i liked the look of them . so thats a bad sign  right there 
 
i figured 50 once of silver , not alot i know but a good starting point
 
and an ounce of the yellow stuff . again not alot i know but again a good starting point 
 
that gives me 27 oz of silver and just over the oz of gold with the two sovs i bought last week 
 
ive enough spare to buy the 23oz of silver then its down to small purchases of both over the year to build on . does this sound like a plan   

I think you were right Stretch, Alasdair Macleod (Gold Money) also suggested in his last market update the traders might force the price down for the end of year.

What I've done Stretch is split, i have bought some now postponed delivery until end of Feb if the price dips I will buy a lot more if it stays the same I will buy a little more.    

Well after lurking in the shadows for a few weeks and doing alot of reading and research here on the forum and internet. Today i made my first purchase  a gold sovereign and a south africa 2 rand not sure if two coins make me a stacker but its a start. Would just like to say thanks to all involved with the running of the forum, and will post a pic when they arrive  

Today from my local supplier I bought 2.43 oz of gold, 4 full sovereigns, 6 half sovereigns, and a 20 gram Pamp Suisse Lady Fortuna bar.
 
I also bought 30 odd proof coins from him at £10 a coin, they are mainly the queen mother but I also have the certificates for some of them too.

Yes Stretch I am hoping the same also that it is lower as I am putting in a large order with STG which includes 3 10 oz coins.

I'am a gold fan yes but only discovered vat free silver in August so I'm now keen to stack plenty silver too. At least till my gold and silver values are roughly even.
I choose the crocs because now I do have a few tubes of most of the cheap coins and crocs were only a little more expensive. I have since noticed that STG has changed their premiums as the spot fell the crocs haven't gone down in price as much as other coins.

Another great big order to go in, bring it on.

Why for me personally I am not really into them, but who knows I may buy in the future. That said I bet the 2015 Kookaburra is a good looking coin.

I made a prediction a few weeks back of silver dropping to £9 an ounce, going sidewards between 9-10 for a couple of years and then a new bull run, if that happens then I will be publishing a new book "how the hell did i guess that" and market myself as some kind of guru
